Finnish Ambassador Pekka Hyvönen has made important contributions to reinforcing and developing the traditional friendly relations between Viet Nam and Finland.
Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan was speaking so when receiving the outgoing Finnish Ambassador on August 11 in Ha Noi.

The Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan said Việt Nam always treasures the development of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Finland.
He congratulated Mr. Pekka Hyvönen on being recently offered the Friendship Medal by the Vietnamese State President.
Mr. Pekka Hyvönen said the Finnish Government attaches importance to developing ties with Việt Nam in various fields, especially economy, culture and environment.
The ambassador pledged that he will make more active contribution to the bilateral relations.
Ttwo-way trade between Vietnam and Finland in the first quarter of 2011 rose 15% year on year to US $64.4 million.
